I think I called it 'service work' in our last conversation. Anyway, I was serving with City Year Los Angeles, helping young school kids, investing in their future. Very cool organization, very proud to be a part of it.

Yeah, and very rewarding, but also very demanding. I was working long, long hours, all the while trying to build out a proper life here in LA. Making friends, taking care of myself, all that.
These days I have a normal job with less demanding hours, so there's much more time for creation.

It's good! It's football season right now, so I'm in full swing writing articles about my favorite team, Ohio State. It was a lot of fun last season, so I'm excited to be doing it again.
